But you can find some reviews of some nice music from the late 90s like Georges Wassouf's release Tabeeb Jarrah; Palestinian group, El-Fanoun's Zaghareed release; plus two new compilations of the music from the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music. There is an album which is over two years old which is getting a lot of buzz lately and that is Ilham Al-Madfai's - KHUTTAR. I highly recommend this Iraqi singer's album. He is based in the US and comes around on tour every once and a while. Buy it from Amazon by clicking the link above. 2001 new music includes: Kathem El Saher, Ragheb Alamah, Walid Tawfic, Asala, Mohammed Al Mazem, and Miami (aka Miami Group or The Kuwaiti Miami Group), Fairuz LIVE music, Najwa Karam, Rami Ayash and more.
